Since 1987, Congressman David Price has served as the representative of North Carolina’s Fourth Congressional District. Rep. Price got his start in politics as a civil rights student activist on the University of North Carolina’s campus and has earned a reputation as a leader on education issues in the House. A veteran member of the House of Representatives, Rep. Price serves on the Appropriations Committee.
Rep. Price is a true champion of the pro-Israel, pro-peace movement, actively advocating for almost every J Street-supported action to come before Congress. In 2017, the Congressman co-authored a bipartisan letter to President Trump, signed by 191 Members of Congress, which urged the President to reaffirm the United States’ long-standing support for a just and lasting two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Congressman Price is a cosponsor of House Resolution 326, which reaffirms Congress’s commitment to two-state solution and opposes settlement expansion and annexation, and he has been a public champion of J Street’s issues in Congress.
