Derek Kilmer

Rep. Derek Kilmer was first elected to represent Washington’s 6th Congressional District in 2012. Prior to his election to Congress, Rep. Kilmer worked for McKinsey and Company as a management consultant. He has served in both the Washington State House and State Senate before winning election to retiring Rep. Norm Dicks’ seat in 2012. Rep. Kilmer, whose 102 year old grandmother survived the Holocaust, has a very personal connection to Israel and strongly supports US leadership in brokering a two-state solution.
