Sen. Dianne Feinstein is California’s senior senator and was first elected to the Senate in 1992. Before her election to the Senate, Feinstein served as the President of San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors and Mayor of San Francisco. As the first female Chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Feinstein earned a reputation as an authority on international affairs. Recently, she has been a leading voice on the need to prioritize diplomacy to resolve the threat of a nuclear armed Iran. Feinstein is a committed supporter of a two-state solution and strong friend of the pro-Israel, pro-peace movement.
