Candidate Details

John Yarmuth

House - Incumbent

A six-time JStreetPAC endorsee, Rep. John Yarmuth was first elected to represent Kentucky’s 3rd Congressional District in 2006. Prior to being elected to Congress, Rep. Yarmuth was known for his work with the media, business, higher education, and healthcare.

As one of J Street’s strongest allies on Capitol Hill, the Congressman has long been a consistent and outspoken advocate for bold US leadership to broker a two-state solution. Last Congress, he authored a letter with Congresswoman Schakowsky to Prime Minister Netanyahu urging against the destruction of Palestinian villages in the West Bank. He was one of the earliest cosponsors of House Resolution 326, which reaffirms Congress’s commitment to two-state solution and opposes settlement expansion and annexation.
