Congressman Mike Doyle has represented Pennsylvania’s 18th district in Washington since 1995. Before serving in Congress, Doyle worked as chief of staff to State Senator Frank Pecora and operated a small business in Swissvale, PA. Rep. Doyle has lived in Allegheny County his entire life, graduated from Penn State, and worked in a local steel mill for several summers during college. In Congress, he serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee.
Rep. Doyle is a strong supporter of J Street’s mission and a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He has been a frequent supporter of J Street’s legislative priorities, and he was an early cosponsor of House Resolution 326, which reaffirms Congress’s commitment to two-state solution and opposes settlement expansion and annexation.
