Paul Davis is running in Kansas’ 2nd congressional district. Davis served in the Kansas House of Representatives for 12 years from 2003-2015, and he was elected Democratic leader of the House in 2008.
Davis is proud that supporting Israel remains a bipartisan priority. If elected to Congress, he will support continued US aid for Israeli defense programs to maintain Israel’s qualitative military edge in the region. Additionally, he will advocate for continued US funding for the Palestinian Authority, which in his view, promotes stability in the West Bank and incentivizes negotiations for a two-state solution.
In order to achieve long-term peace and stability in the region, Davis understands that reaching a two-state solution is the best possible solution. He believes that the US must play a critical role in facilitating these discussions and be prepared to assist with security arrangements, as we have in the past.
