Since 1989, Congressman Richard Neal has represented Massachusetts’ 1st Congressional District. Congressman Neal serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means, where he is the ranking member on the Subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures. Additionally, Neal is a member on the Subcommittee on Trade.
Rep. Neal has been a reliable ally in Congress for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans. Neal has been a consistent supporter of the two-state solution, and he was a cosponsor on H. Res 365, legislation commending the Kerry Initiative. Rep. Neal voted in support of the Iran nuclear deal and he was an advocate of a diplomacy first approach to curb the Iranian nuclear threat.
