Robin Kelly

House - Incumbent

Congresswoman Robin Kelly won a special election in 2013 to replace Jesse Jackson Jr. as the representative of Illinois’ 2nd Congressional district, being re-elected three times since then. In Congress, Rep. Kelly has emerged as a strong voice for progressive issues and serves on the powerful House Committees on Oversight and Energy and Commerce.

Having traveled to Israel in 2008, the Congresswoman has been a vocal supporter of Israel and a proponent of a two-state solution, putting her name to Rep. Schakowsky’s letter of concern on the issue. She was an early cosponsor of House Resolution 326, which reaffirms Congress’s commitment to two-state solution and opposes settlement expansion and annexation.
